I am always looking for different ideas and experiences to allow couples and families to share their love within their ceremonies, so I am very excited to introduce you all to “Harmony Glass”, incorporating “The Harmony Experience”.
This ceremony is the first of its kind in the UK and can be included within any life celebratory event. From Naming ceremonies through to Celebration of Life services , you now have the opportunity to create a unique piece of hand-blown glass, which has been infused with your love and memories.
Based on an original idea first introduced in the USA, and working alongside talented local glassblower, Kayleigh Young, who is based in the Midlands, I was finally able to bring the idea into fruition, and launch this unique product as a refreshing addition to the ceremony market.
An adaption of the sand ceremony, “Harmony Glass” allows your friends and family to become a focused part of your celebration, adding their own personal touch to a unique piece of glass art, that will serve as a forever memory of your momentous day.
“The Harmony Experience” is written into your ceremony script ,especially for you, as a part of your whole unique ceremony . Each person that you would like to participate in this experience with you, takes part in the pouring of your choice of coloured glass crystals, into a separate vessel, perhaps while thinking of a prayer or blessing, or their wishes of love for you.
Different colours carry their own symbolism – you may choose those that reflect your birthstones, the place where you have chosen for your celebration, greens for woodland, or blues for a beach setting, for example.
The choice of colours can also reflect the spirituality of the moment, such as white, indicating the wish for a strong foundation in the relationship . Or you can, simply just choose your favourite colours that you would like to see in your finished piece of glass art.
The coloured crystals create a beautiful swirling effect throughout the glass, resulting in a completely unique and exquisite piece of glass art.
