The “Harmony Glass Experience “…..
Working alongside many couples planning their special occasion , discussions are often focused around important members of the family that are, sadly, not able to be present at the Celebrations.
The tradition of Dad or even Mum walking their Son or Daughter down the aisle, even for those planning a less traditional content to their ceremony, is a strong conversation point.
Ways of having their loved one’s spiritual presence, can be introduced into ceremonies in many ways…. A picture locket secured into a flower bouquet, a piece of jewellery previously given as a gift, a picture of the deceased placed on the table for all to see, even a chair left empty throughout the ceremony . Even a candle lighting that stays burning throughout and mention of the absentees by name.
I’d like to introduce you to the ”Harmony Experience”, which can be written into any Ceremony or Service . Full details can be found on my website www.cariad-personalceremonies.co.uk.
The ceremony itself involves a three-stage process- First the choosing of the shape of your “Harmony Glass” piece of art. Secondly, the choosing of the combination colours you would like your piece of glass art to be made into- there are 24 different colours of glass to choose from.
The main “Harmony Experience “is the third part ,your ceremony or service that involves sharing the pouring of different chosen coloured crystals all together into one main bowl – alongside your chosen loved ones ,that are present, and able to share in the experience with you.
Specially written words sit within your whole ceremony structure ,of your choice of personal focus for your “Harmony Experience”.
After the Ceremony, the crystals are then sent back to me (packaging included ) and I take them to my local glass blower, Kayleigh Young Glass for her to weave the magic, transforming the blended crystals into your unique piece of glass memories.
If you have a recently deceased relative, that you still hold the ashes for, you are able to incorporate these into any of the Harmony Glass products at the final stages of glass blowing…. Ensuring that any absent loved ones are a big memory created with you on your day, and then, afterwards ,when transformed into your final glass piece to be placed somewhere of significance as a centre piece for shared conversations and invoking memories of your special day .
If the actual ashes are not available, then why not still have the spiritual connection with those important people, by choosing significant colours that relate to them. Green for example could be for someone loving nature or trees, or the “green” of a golf course perhaps. Yellow could symbolise loving the sunshine, living abroad, the love of a particular yellow flower. Blue could signify loving water, a certain “water” horoscope sign , or simply a favourite colour. Choosing a special colour glass crystal that represents that special person/people alongside all of your other chosen colours that are poured together with you on your day. ….
